C4_SITI System Internal Interaction Viewpoint

Purpose

The SystemInternal Interaction Viewpoint describes System internal behavior based on the exchange between the Conceptual Systems internal Roles It depicts the sequence of interactions between the Conceptual SOI Elements and the exchanged Domain Item Kinds.

Applicability

The System Internal Interaction Viewpoint supports the activities of the System Architecture Definition Process” of the INCOSE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING HANDBOOK 2023 [§2.3.5.4] and contributes to the System Architecture description.

Presentation

A sequence diagram featuring the flow of control between Conceptual Internal Roles within the SOI. Note: This diagram depicts the sending and receiving of messages between the interacting entities called lifelines where time is represented along the vertical axis. The lifeline representatives are part properties typed by Conceptual System.
